1980’s Auricoste Spirotechnique 906.21.0

1980’s Auricoste Spirotechnique 906.21.05 stainless steel case with and automatic movement. Spirotechnique is a well-respected name within the diving community, as the company was founded in 1947 to develop and distribute the Aqua-Lung regulator developed by Jacques Cousteau. Many brands offered watches with the Spirotechnique logo, including TAG Heuer under the reference 980.023. In the early 1990s, Auricoste obtained the rights from TAG to license the design of this watch, which was effectively manufactured by Zodiac. It was only fitting that the French Navy then chose Auricoste for its divers; the French Air Force had approved the manufacture’s Type 20 chronograph for its pilots for decades. This watch makes a great addition to collectors of military watches.
